1. DEADLINE TODAY: Today is the last day for entering this year's Reflection's Art
Contest. All entries are due in the main office by the end of
school today.. The theme for this year is, Beauty is...”, and you can enter in any of six different
categories: visual arts, dance choreography, music composition, film and video
production, literature, or photography.

3. ALL CSF MEMBERS: We are returning to last year’s schedule of
club meetings. Today, November 9 we
will start with the second half and it will continue from there - - 1St and
3rd Mondays will be the first half of the alphabet, 2nd and 4th Mondays will be the
second half. Thanks. If you have any questions, see Mrs. Shamrock
in room 508.
4. Soccer Club: BYOT (BRING your own team) games continue at lunch on Tuesday and Thursday. BRING IT!

6. All Winter Athletes. Those with completed forms and a 2.0 GPA and
Citizenship may pick up their clearance card at lunch in the balcony of the big
gym on Tuesday, November 10 and Thursday, November 12. If you are finishing a fall sport and going
on to a winter sport, just come to the balcony of the big gym. (Coach
Allen and Mr. Fairley)
7. Blue Slips will not be written for students to
go to their cars at lunch. This means, if you have left your
athletic uniform, lunch, book or assignment in your vehicle, it will stay there
until after school. Therefore, don’t leave anything you may need that day
in your car when you arrive in the morning. (Mr. Shelburne)
8 MATH CLUB - LJHS math club started the year with a perfect score! Let's maintain the momentum! CAML #2 will be held during period 1 on Tuesday, November 17. Please check in with your first period teacher and then come to the cafeteria with pencils, erasers, scratch paper, and a calculator. If you have not paid the $5 club fee, please bring $5, as well. 11. Everyone interested in playing Boys' Basketball in 2009-2010 for
the La Jolla Vikings should attend a mandatory
meeting on Tuesday, November 10 at the beginning of LUNCH in the SMALL
GYM!
We will discuss the organizational aspects of tryouts and the first week of

1. SENIORS:
You should all be planning to turn in your Senior
Exhibition topic on Tuesday, November 17, or before. If you haven't
heard about your responsibility, speak to your English teacher. If you fail to turn in your topic, by
November 17, it will be selected for you. Remember, this is a
graduation requirement. If you plan to graduate, you must make the
