ASB BALL
Friday, March 21
8:00 - 11:30 p.m.
Hilton Hotel, Mission Bay
Attire: Semi Formal/Formal

Parents - This is a couple's dance put on by the
Associated Student Body, and all students are expected to dress and act appropriately in accordance with the La Jolla High School Dance Policy and the La Jolla High School Behavior Code Policy.

Please caution your sons/daughters about alcohol and drug use - often a temptation at this type of event.  It is unhealthy, unsafe, illegal, and could result in severe school and/or civil disciplinary action.  Seniors risk losing senior privileges, including graduation!  Tell them to be smart - stay sober and safe!

ÞEVERY INDIVIDUAL COMING INTO THE DANCE
MUST SHOW PHOTO I.D.
Ü
(La Jolla High students must show their LJHS photo I.D.,
and non-LJHS students must also have a photo I.D.)

This is a semi-formal/formal dance.  Please remind your students that if they do not adhere to the dress code, they will not be admitted.
Boys - Collared shirts, slacks, jackets, and ties are required.  No jeans or tennis shoes.
Girls - Dressy dress or formal dress is
required.  No bare midriffs, obscenely short skirts, or tennis shoes.

Tickets usually cost from the high $40s to the high $50s per couple.  ASB begins selling tickets about a week
before the dance; the price rises as the week goes on.

All sales are in advance; no tickets are sold at the door.

All students must be in the dance no later than 9:30 p.m.

Dances are just another element of the educational process.
We ask that good judgment be used.
