Seniors...Start Your Cameras!

Senior Parent Snapshot Alert - Start taking and collecting pictures now for submission to the Class of '04 Senior Video.  While we can't guarantee that all will be used, help make it a great video and assure that your daughter or son will be a part of it.  Any shots taken during the four years of high school qualify, as long as they're in good taste, so start looking through your shoeboxes of photos and get out there and shoot.  The video will be produced by our very own Seth Brau, an award-winning student film maker, and will be available for purchase in VHS and DVD formats.  Photo submission details will follow in the next newsletter.

Senior Exhibitions

Wanted:  Parents interested in becoming panel members to evaluate senior exhibitions for the Class of 2004.  The senior exhibition is a graduation requirement, wherein each student makes a presentation to a panel about a subject that has made a significant impact on his or her life.  The student must demonstrate mastery of several skills, including writing, speaking, organization, and critical thinking.

Our students are involved in many different and fascinating areas.  The senior exhibition gives students an opportunity to share their passion and excitement and to demonstrate the academic skills they have acquired.
The senior exhibition schedule runs most Tuesdays and Thursdays from January through mid-March.  The time frame each day is from approximately noon to 3:00 p.m.  The panels are made up of three individuals who will evaluate a maximum of ten presentations each day.  Prior to the first day of senior exhibitions, a short orientation meeting will be held to familiarize panel members with the process.

January: 6, 8, 13, 15     February: 3, 5, 10, 12, 17, 19, 24, 26    March: 9, 11, 16, 18.
