Editor's Notes

As your new Newsletter team takes over, we want to say "Thank you" to the previous team, especially Marty Jacobson, who has answered myriad questions and continues to give editing advice. We hope we can measure up to the standards set by Marty, Trish Billings, and Sashin Shannahan.


Also, welcome aboard to Elke Ruf, who will be working with Virginia Berracasa on layout.

Articles, news flashes, information, letters, complaints, compliments, suggestions, etc. may be:

  •  e-mailed to pta@ljhs.sandi.net
  • left in the PTA newsletter mailbox in hard copy or diskette form

We will contact you to confirm your submission. Articles may be edited for length. Text files and MS Word documents are preferred. The next Newsletter will be delivered in early April and will cover events through late August, 2004. Questions? Call Gail Trimble,

As a reminder...

  • All phone and fax numbers given in the newsletter have the 858 area code unless otherwise noted.
  • We attempt to avoid placing items back to back that need to be cut out and sent in; however, it is not always possible. Please feel free to photocopy any pages.
